Context
I was the dedicated lead designer for the uTorrent client. The team worked in SCRUM inspired environment, which resulted in iterative, incremental projects. Documentation was minimal to rapidly iterate on features.
Qualitative User Testing
My first project was to design a qualitative usability study to understand why the company was seeing a drop off in engagement after installation. As a result of my findings we made quick changes to the product that helped drive adoption. In addition, my research drove the creation of a full-time qualitative researcher position.
